Kindergarten Class

Language Arts: We use a series called SuperKids to teach Language Arts at this level. We use stories, phonics, vocabulary development, and writing to follow these special SuperKids around and to learn.

Math: The Math program consists of daily morning work, calendar activities, math vocabulary, math facts and manipulative use to practice our different lessons.

Social Studies: The Social Studies program consists of geography skills, short stories, and lessons on how to be a good citizen as well as different people and places. We are able to incorporate many hands-on activities and projects to enrich these objectives.

Science: The science program consists of interactive science modules where students are given the opportunity to really be hands-on. The main focus of the different modules are exploring how we learn, as well as, observing an aquarium. The students have activities, readers and learning sheets to help get the full understanding of the lesson.
