Uniform Changes
Hopefully all of the school families have read the letter sent in July about uniform changes. Dennis will exchange the Ash colored shirts for the Light Blue shirts if they were purchased this summer. If has been decided that the Ash colored shirt will be phased out this year which means that if you have some of them from last year, your student may wear them this year but it will be the last year for them. Please do not purchase any more of them. Educational Outfitters embroiders the school logo on to the shirts as opposed to ironing them on, so please begin buying your replacement items from Educational Outfitters. Visit the school web page to obtain their address and phone number. Sorry about all of the headaches and extra trips but when changes are made, disruptions do occur but hopefully this clarifies the situation.

A message from Fr McGuire
Hello Everyone,
Praised be the name of Jesus!
Welcome to our school’s website and the invitation to share in the experience of authentic Catholic education. It’s my hope that this website will serve to introduce you to our truly unique vision.
There are two principle areas that distinguish our school from other parochial schools. First, our entire school begins every day at the feet of the Divine Teacher, our Lord Jesus, in the perfect prayer of the Mass. Having been strengthened by the Word of God and by the miracle of the Eucharist, our students are challenged to continue the great adventure of faith in giving glory to God through their academic, artistic, athletic, and Christian service pursuits.
Our school’s second area of distinction is our ability to focus on the academic and human development of each child through ongoing individualized assessments. This pedagogical methodology, developed, taught and overseen by our Principal, Ms. Rita Standerfer, ensures that each student is challenged to progress without boundaries in their various subjects of study. Through this outcome based approach, teachers and parents are quickly able to track and address specific skills and areas of comprehension in a systematic way.
I invite to you to “come and see”. Please join us any day for Mass in our church at 8:00 am to experience firsthand our Lord’s grace at work in our students. And then come spend some time with our students and teachers on campus to see for yourself our vision in action. I wish you and your families much grace and peace in your ongoing journey of faith.
In Christ,
Fr. T. McGuire

A Message from
Principal Standerfer
Welcome to St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic School! Our school is one of rapid change and extraordinary vision! We are small in numbers, but large in love. You will find us an active Catholic faith community with Christ at our heart and finding His purpose for us as our goal. We have a beautiful ten acre campus, but limit ourselves to one class per grade level. Our classes will not exceed 24 students so there is plenty of personal attention. We offer an individual outcome based assessment curriculum so that we can better assist students with any challenges. This also provides the opportunity for students to move forward at their own individual pace.
If you visit our campus in the morning, you will find a smiling staff member to welcome them at the gate. We are blessed to have the Daughters of Mary gracing our hallways and leading us to a stronger faith commitment. After attendance, we join as a family to be with our Lord at holy mass each day. This is a perfect foundation to begin each day and we are truly growing stronger in spirit because of it.
In Christ,
Principal Rita Standerfer
