On behalf of all the students and families at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic School who will benefit from CTODP scholarship support for the 2009-10 school year, we thank St. Daniel community for your contributions in 2009. You are remembered as benefactors in our daily school prayers.
If you would like to give a gift of a Catholic education and if you would like a TAX CREDIT for the 2010 Tax Year, begin NOW to build up your tax credit by making a donation to CTODP. You may contribute UP TO $1,000 per taxable year per household ($500 filing single). You can also give a little each month, instead of trying to come up with the $1,000 all at once by December 31st! This is one way you can decide where you Tax Money will go. Please designate "St. Daniel The Prophet" - Code #147- as the preferred recipient of these scholarship funds. Many employers will match the amount you give to CTODP, thereby doubling your contribution! Ask your benefits or human resource department. The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix was established in 1998, thanks to the Arizona Tuition Tax Credit. The Catholic Tuition Organization is a non-profit organization under the 501(c)(3) IRS tax code.
They are committed to allocating at least 93% of its annual revenues for scholarships and grants to children attending the schools owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, even though the law only requires 90% be allocated.
From their first year of operations in 1998, the generosity of local contributors have allowed CTODP to continually increase funding to local Catholic schools, awarding scholarships to students with the greatest need, who wish to choose Catholic education.
